More than 1000 shot cleaning systems has been delivered since this cleaning metod was introduced more than 50 years ago.

Economiser for Borås Energi och miljö, Sobacken, Sweden

Ekströms delivered the Finned tube Economiser for Valmets new Biomass fired boiler in Borås. The Economiser consists of Double fin tubes with a total heating surface of 8.465m². Delivery was made in two units with a weight of about 84 tons each.

Flue gas coolers for Metsä Fibre OY Äänekoski, Finland

During August 2017 Metsä Fibre in Äänekoski started up the first next-generation bioproduct mill, which is the largest wood processing plant in the Northern Hemisphere. Ekströms Värmetekniska AB is the proud supplier of the flue gas coolers for Valmets Technologies new recovery boiler. The four Flue gas cooler, which was delivered end of 2016, has a total weigth of almost 500 tonns.

Flue Gas Cooler for Smurfit Kappa in Piteå, Sweden

Ekströms delivered a 5 MW Flue gas cooler to Smurfit Kappa and Pite Energi. The flue gas cooler was delivered as one 60 ton unit and was installed in the autum 2016. It is now producing hot water from waste heat for the district heating system in Piteå in Northen Sweden.

Economiser for Domsjö SP9, Sweden

In september 2016 Ekströms made a successful delivery of a new Fin tube economiser to Domsjö fabriker SP9 in Örnsköldsvik Sweden. The economiser was delivered in 14 units and installed by Andritz during a short time window. The new economiser is replacing an old cast iron Economiser from 1980 also supplied by Ekströms Värmetekniska.

Primary Air Cooler for DONG Studstrup, Denmark

Ekströms delivered a Primary Air Cooler for DONG Energy´s power plant in Studstrup, Denmark. The Air cooler, consisting of Ekströms High frequency welded Spiral finned tubes, was a part of the convertion of the former fossil fueled power plant into a biomass fired power plant.

Flue gas coolers for Mondi Swiecie, Poland

In November 2014 Ekströms supplied two Finned tube flue gas coolers for Andritz new recovery boiler at Mondi Swiecie in Poland. The flue gas coolers has a total capacity of approximate 15 MW.
